10th Annual KASH conference
KASH is the KEMRI Annual Scientific and Health Conference launched in 2010 with the mission to mainstream KEMRI’s scientific and health agenda by dissemination, sharing and digesting scientific outputs and other allied products including networking and strengthening partnerships and collaborations to Improve health and quality of life.[/blockquote]
Projects areas include: epidemiology, behavioural and social sciences, nutrition, environmental/ occupational health, oral health, Health care financing, governance and leadership and service delivery
Projects areas include: maternal health, child health, adolescent health, STI’s, Gender Based Violence (GBV), infertility, sexual dysfunction, family planning, harmful traditional practices, aging and sexual and reproductive health, gender and human rights.
It involves conducting basic, clinical, operational, implementation and applied research in all matters related to non-communicable diseases that include Life styles diseases such as Obesity, Diabetes, Hypertension, Cardiovascular problems, Drug and Substance abuse among others.
